At Arckads, we set out to design anatomical slippers for people who need reliable support in the place they spend most of their time: their everyday environment. Each pair is thoughtfully developed to encourage natural alignment, balanced weight distribution, and lasting comfort throughout the day.

At Arckads, we believe that comfort, alignment, and design should coexist naturally. The way the feet are supported influences how the body aligns and moves above them, and thoughtful support at this foundation can contribute to improved posture and a greater sense of comfort in daily life.

I am Panos, the founder of Arckads — a physical therapist working closely with posture, body alignment, back conditions, and low back pain. Through years of clinical practice, I observed that the slippers people wear in their everyday life — whether at home, outdoors, on walks, or by the beach — are often overlooked, yet they play an important role in how the body feels and moves over time.

This understanding shaped our approach to footwear design. We apply the same principles used in clinical practice, focusing on function, long-term support, and the individual needs of the body. Our slippers are lightweight, durable, and intentionally minimal in design, created to integrate effortlessly into everyday routines, indoors or out.

Arckads is designed for everyday living — for families, parents, and children alike — because feeling supported should be part of daily life for everyone at home. When the feet feel supported, the body moves more naturally, helping people stay comfortable, active, and confident throughout their day.

When the body is not properly aligned, certain muscles and joints may carry more load than they are designed to handle, which over time can contribute to fatigue and physical discomfort. Supporting the feet — the body's foundation — can help promote a more balanced distribution of forces during everyday movement.

For this reason, our slippers are designed with a cushioned, supportive sole that provides softness underfoot while maintaining stability, offering a comfortable experience whether worn at home, outdoors, or throughout daily activities.
